Pomi Support

Hi! Pomi is made by one person. Here are quick answers to common questions, and an email if you need a hand.

Common questions

How do I start a focus session?

Pick a length from the row of pills at the bottom (5, 15, 25, 45, 60, or 90 minutes), then tap Start. Pomi will close its eyes and breathe along with you until time’s up.

Will my session keep running if I lock my phone or switch apps?

Yes. Pomi tracks time using the system clock, so locking your screen or switching apps won’t pause anything. When the session ends, you’ll get a notification (if you allowed them) and your minutes will be added when you reopen the app.

The completion notification isn’t firing. What do I do?

Open iOS Settings → Notifications → Pomi and make sure Allow Notifications is on. If you denied permission when first launching the app, this is the only place to re-enable it.

Can I see my history beyond today?

Not yet. The current version of Pomi only shows today’s focused minutes, which reset every midnight. A history view is on the roadmap for a future update.

Where is my data stored?

Entirely on your device. Pomi doesn’t use accounts or servers and never sends your data anywhere. See the privacy policy for full details.
